I l ..- IUNIOR VARSITY WRESTLING: jerry Mitchell, Dennis Murphy, Bob Nishimura, Terry Mul- len, lim Considine, Carey Cole, Dan Lyons, Troy Oughton, Bob Karcz, Bill Miller, Bob Artel, Manager Ignacio Queroz, and Coach Paul Kabarec. Willowbrook's Wrestling WARRIORS! Willowbrook's Wrestling Warriors had one of their finest seasons this year. Varsity finish- ed with an 8-3 dual meet record and topped the season off by returning home District Champs from Wheaton North. The Warriors sent five wrestlers, Tom Cortez, Gary Zizzo, Scott Stamp, Wendal Harris, and Larry Kenyon to sectional competition. Our two district champions, Tom Cortez and Gary Zizzo took second place at the sectional and went on to the state meet in Champaign. This was the first time in Willowbrook's history that the wrestler's have won District. Six juniors from this year's district team ITom Cortez, Mark Aschliman, Tom Spratt, Carry Cole, Tom Cassel and Dave Brown? will make it twice in a row. Warriors had five wrestlers on all-confer- ence team. Tom Cortez, Gary Zizzo, Wendal Harris, Larry Kenyon, and Don Spratt were the five to go on the all-conference team. FRESHMEN WRESTLING: FRONT ROW: Mike Considine, john Yamasaki, Bob Hall, Dennis Murphy, jerry Mitchell, and Mark Smith, SECOND ROW: john Reger, Bill Prange, Mark Zeher, jim Rader, Scott Snell, Tom Yugar, and Pete Morinig THIRD ROW: Coach Genne Spratt, Mike Torrence, lim McVicker, Roger Varland, Mike Parkhill, Ken Havenga, Cary Campagna, and Mike Richards.
