SILVER KEY CLUB Silver Key Club is a service organiza- tion made up of sophomores, juniors and seniors. Members act as guides on occasions when the public visits the school, such as the Principals Recep- tion, Alumni Tea, Open House, and Eighth Grade Night. You can join only after earning a varsity letter and undergoing initiation. The initiation consists of wearing sweater and tie backwards for a whole day at school. A few of the things that the letter- men make the initiates do are pick up pennies, shine shoes. and sing nursery rhymes.The days of initiation are enjoyed by everyone. The lettermen sell programs at all home games and assist opposing teams and officials at home basketball games. They ,usually sponsor a fund-raising pro- ject sometime during the year.
