This year's tennis team has many experienced players on it. Although the team is not loaded with lettermen, many of the members have had experience playing in meets. GOLF COACH JORDAN GREETS ONE LETTERMAN Mark Wilson, the only returning letterman on the golf squad, was greeted by rookie Coach Dan Jordan. Mark, along with Al Zeman, Paul Skipworth, and Rich Santucci Ca track man turned golferj, should carry the team this year. All of the Varsity team have experience in golf meets and are anxious to start the season. The Sophomore squad is inexperienced, but several of the boys have good potential. Tom Hicks, George Thore- BASEBALL LOOKS TOWARD STATE COMPETITION With six returning lettermen, Coach ScholI's baseball team is in good shape to capture the District crown again and go further in search of the State title. A strong defense and a sound hitting offense are the key to our ball club's success. One other advantage the tearn has is its strong bench of reserve players. With outdoor track now beginning, the team has gained the services of the winter sports candidates. During the indoor season, they came in second in Conference and first in the Naperville Relays. With strength in every department and loads of lettermen, the team stands a good chance to win the Conference crown. Several of the events have potential to go down- state.
