French Club French club was organized to provide oppor- tunity for French students to learn more about the culture and people of France. This is done by taking small outings to French movies, plays, and shows. Some other activities French club sponsors are a carnation sale for Valen- tine's Day and making stockings to take to the patients at Elmhurst Hospital when the mem- bers go to Christmas carol. This year German club has kept up the traditional Oktoberfest to wel- come new and old members. Under the direction of Mr. John- son, the club has arranged for a pro- fessor from Elmhurst College to come and speak about German customs. The purpose of the club is to learn more about Germany and have fun doing so.
