NOTPICTURED: Rick Siegfried and Jim Prusa. Grapplers Take Third in Districts This season was the best in Willowbrook history fortheWrestlingWarriors. They achieved a record of 8 wins and 3 losses. Willowbrook also placed second in the St. Francis Holiday Tournament, with Bob Stewarts and Rich Siegfried going undefeated. The team placed third in Districts, another first in Willowbrook history. District champs were Gary Cottone and Tim McDermott. Five wrestlers advanced to Sectionals.Here Jim Prusa placed third, while Rich Siegfried placed second and qualified to go downstate. Outstanding records by individuals were Gary Zizzo, 14-4, which is a school record for the most wins by a sophomore on varsity: Gary Cottone, 19-31 Bob Stewarts, 14-45 Tom Larsen, 11-3-33 Rich Siegfried, 13-3-15 and Jim Prusa, 'I1-5-1.
