The Future Business Leaders of America is the national organiza- tion for all high-school and college students enrolled in business subjects. The club is devoted to providing young adults with ed- ucational, vocational, and leadership experi- ences. The activities of the Future Business Leaders of America provide an opportunity for business students to prepare better for occupations in business. Members learn how to compete honorably with their colleagues. C.W.T. Kay Anderson in English class. Gary Colvin in C.W.T. related class. Cooperative work training is one type of in- dustrial cooperative education program offered at Willowbrook. The program is offered to boys and girls sixteen years of age or older. The students alternate on a halt-day basis between study in school and working on the job as an employee. The students' school time is devoted to tak- ing the required courses plus a cooperative work training class which covers general re- lated information in the world of work. The students choose the occupations at which they work. These occupations usually require a limited amount of technical training and skills. Student-Learner Jim Dungan with Mr. Carl Steier. NOT PICTURED: Traudy Martens. g.a.a. on the move The purpose of G.A.A. is to pro- mote interest and participation in girls' sports and to encourage good sportsmanship, fair play, and co-operation. An interest in sports, annual dues, and twenty-four points are the requirements for membership. Y I This year speedaway, tennis, bowling, volleyball, basketball, modern dance, gymnastics, rec- reational games, archery, golf, L, '-:r and softball were offered. The sale of stadium cushions and candy bars, along with the annual initiation and mother- daughter tea, were some of the highlights ofthe G.A.A. year.
