si camera club The purpose of Camera Club is to help students learn basic photography and perfect their tech- nique through doing. Meetings are held twice month- ly, during which films are seen and pictures taken by members are discussed. The school darkrooms are open to members, where they may learn how to develop film and enlarge pictures. At school dances, Camera Club takes color pictures of the couples to raise money for new equipment. Through films, speakers, and field trips, Allied Medical Careers Club offers its members an opportunity to become acquainted with the fields of medicine and health. Under the supervision of Miss Mary Ellen McCracken, club sponsor and school nurse, A.M.C. toured convalescent homes, homes for the emotionally disturbed and mentally handicapped, the University of Illinois College of Nursing, and Shriners Hospital for crippled children.
