Supervised Job Training is one type of industrial cooperative education program offered at Willow- brook. The program is offered to boys or girls 16 years of age or older. The students have to take the required courses in supervised job training, English, Social Science, and American History. These students choose the trades or occupations at which they work. These occupations usually require a minimum of technical related information with emphasis on skills. One of Willowbrool-t's largest service organizations is Girls' Club. The purpose of the club is to promote service, loyalty, and friendship. Highlights of the year began with a picnic at which Big Sisters acquainted incoming freshman girls with the school. Bow Week was held December 19-21 to increase school spirit. In March the annual Girls, Club fashion show was held, sponsored by Bonwit Tellers of Oakbrook. A conference with Girls' Club members from other schools helped to give new ideas for next year's activities. The Girls' Club calendar of events ended with the annual Mother-Daughter Tea, at which awards were presented to deserving members.
