SCIENCE CLUB: The Willowbrook Science Club serves to stimulate, en- courage, and develop the scientific potential of its members. The club, sponsored by Mr. Welsh and Mr. Han- sen, has studied subjects ranging from psychiatry to astronomy through the use of lectures, demonstrations, and field trips. The club also encourages its members to enter projects in science fairs. Latin club is open to all present Latin students and anyone who has finished three years of Latin. Dues are 25 cents per semester. The only stip- ulation is that a member can miss no more than three consecutive meetings. This year Latin Club had a Christ- mas party in December, a Salutatio Breakfast for incoming freshmen in February, an authentic Roman ban- quet in May, and a tea for Auxilium Latinum winners in june. F rosh-Soph Math Club Interesting The meetings of Freshman-Soph- omore Math Club deal with math- ematical puzzles, brain teasers, and solid geometric models. This year the club had a variety of projects and even planned a held trip. It is designed to promote the students' interest in math.
