Although we have never won in Float comnetition, we Feel we had some creat floats. In our First year of hiph school we had a tynical Freshman float, entitled HFlyers Jet To Victory.H As sonhomores our Float read, HCage 'Pm Un Flyers,Hand now asHSeniorsH our theme'was HSmoke 'Em Flyers.U We. the class of nineteen hundred and seventy-seven, have accomp- lished alot. esnecially one of the very best proms that Willow Run Uioh School has ever had. ' Our class council has been excellent. Between car washes, bake sales. dances and sock hops, we have raised quite a bit of money. Part of this money has gone to heln out the seniors who are going on the 'Carribean Cruisen for our senior trio. 1

Over the last four years we have exoerienced much fun, love, hate. and sorrow. We supported our athletic teams in each and every season. and overall they've been very successful. We've been very enthusiastic with our afterschool activities. We took alot of flack from the upperclassmen before us and hope we've shown more maturity towards our underclassmen. In life, as we all kmow, along with the good comes some bad. This year we exnerienced the death of someone very close to us, Mr. Frank L. Samnson . He was a friend to everyone, fair and equal to all students alike. The shop class will never be the same. We. the Seniors of Willow Run High School, the graduating class of 1977, bid our good-byes to our underclassmen, friends, and the many teachers that we've had the pleasure of knowing and working with over the past four years.
