ln December the team went to the S. E. H. O.L. tournement. James Gray and Otis Harri- son won lst and 3rd. Willow Run was 3rd in the regionals with 58 points behind Ypsilanti's ll8 points and Garden City's 88 points. Willow Run won 5 consolation matches and a champeonship. John Oats at l03 pounds edged out Greg Stain of Garden City. The five winners in the consola - tion were Willie Powell fll2l, James Gray 0201, J.C. Pye 0291, Otis Harrison 0331, Lacey Bow- man Ql4Ol, and James Moore placed 4th at heavy weight. At the A.A. U. meet the Flyers had two lst place winners, two 2nd place winners, and three 3rd place winners. Lacey Bowman was lst at l33 and James Gray was lst at l20. James Gray was awarded the outstanding wresler of the year trophy. Otis Harrison at l38 and James Moore at heavy weight were 2nd. Harold Mar- tin at l03, Ken Jefferson and Gaylord Meade were 3rd .
