RESULTS OF CAMP POLL The other day, Dec. 7, was the anniversary of the day they say will live in infamy. We had a big assembly, and a Mr. Rentschler spoke to us about being prepared and the post-war world. lt really gave us some idea of what's coming. Then to take the edge off the sobering effects of his talk, we had a big feed for our own football team. 55 ilflg The WAC'S are having an old-time square-dance in the mess hall. l we wonder if they draft the inmates of the WAC Guardhouse to scrub up the ly place, like they do over here? 5 3 Oh woe-no rest for the rookie. No matter how late we sneak in at night ,we always have to get up at the same time in the morning-if not earlier. What's more, when you do get up, you have to climb into the darndest contraptions and combinations of clothes that were ever invented, hlolding first place by a mile are those bones of the barracks, leg- gins. These leggins are canvas put- t We tees, whose most endearing trait is the unpredictability of the laces. They part at the most inconvenient times. However this fiendish equipment has its good points.
