Nineteen students tried out for Playmakers and were admitted as active and reserve members. The purpose of this organization, .John Gielgud, shall be to broaden the know- ledge and develop individual abilities and interests in the theater and language artsg to provide the opportunities whereby the members may display their talentg and to raise the standard of speech and theater arts to a higher and more desirable lead in Williston High School. To be eligible for membership one must take two years of Latin. I The club's objectives are to widen the interests in Latin and increase our knowledge of Roman days.
