1952 HOMECOMING FESTIVITIES All prcvious recordswcre shattered as the student committees under the leadership of Jim McKay and Bev Sandry, worked hard and long to make this one of the best Homecoming celebrations in Williston High's history. The festivities began with a star-studded coronation program, emceed by Warren Nelson. Mr. Mark. our principal, placed the crown on Miss Nyla Goar, who was chosen queen from five candidates. One of the highlights of the 1952 homecoming was the beautiful parade, which consists of floats sponsored by various school organizations and classes. Then there was the game where we Shanghaied the Saints by the score of 25-14. The climax of the celebration was reached with the Queen's Ball in the high school auditorium. In the upper left corner we find the Student Council float that drove the Queen and her attendants in the parade. ln the upper rightthe first place float which was entered by thc freshman. At the left is Mr. Mark crowning Queen Ny1a . At the right is our enthusiastic and peppy cheerleaders. Below we see the chairmen of the hardworking committees to make the l952 Homecoming ever presented by WHS,
