For in- sTance, our fooTball Team, afTer several years of defeaT, showed They have whaT iT Takes by winning five ouT of eighT games. SpiriT was also shown wiTh our new amphiTheaTer. Many TalenTs will be displayed There ThroughouT This year, and for many years To come. Teachers also showed spiriT by becoming more involved in The i'spiriT of Things, and encouraging many sTudenTs To represenT Their school. The new principal, Fred CoaTes, demonsTraTes spiriT by allowing evenTs To occur. As each year passes, new ideas and renewed spiriT came from sTudenTs who involved Themselves wiTh acTiviTies and bring ouT The beauTy and spiriT of Willis Junior High. The Firebird is an ancienT myThoIogical creaTure. IT was a beauTiful bird of red and orange feaThers. Every 500 years, iT would renew iTself and become more beauTiful Than before. JusT as The firebird had an undying spiriT and showed iT by reviving iTself every 500 years, The sTudenTs and faculTy of Willis Junior High iiCaTch The Flame of The firebird and every year insTill spiriT inTo The newcomers and sTudenTs from previous years To make Willis Junior High excel.
