A WORD TO THE STUDENTS Dear WHS, The goal of this staff was to capture the special Willis High School pride in a yearbook. Whether the pride surfaced at a football game or in the classroom, Willis proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that there is something unique about a school where the students feel like a family instead of a number. Willis has an advantage over other schools because, when Willis wins, the school feels united and each student wants to give their best effort to make sure Willis stays on top. So keep the faith and take an interest in what others have started. Do not let the wall deteriorate because others built it. Someday go look at the trophy rack across from the office and see what trophy you can win for Willis. loin a club and keep your community in mind. It is worth the effort. Remember always that our school song contains the words Wildkats never die. I hope all enjoy this book. With kindest regards, 1984-85 Wildkat editor Trey Barlow ,il rzswbo
