GERMAN CLUB 1 84-85 ,5 , 5 'fa y K .,., . , ,ff V :fra -P dm My Ls ahh I The Willis High School German Club, Der Deutschen Verin, is an organization dedicated to the discovery and enjoyment of German culture. The Club beau was Tim Tackett, and sweetheart, Mechelle Cain. The German Club sold Austrian Crystal jewelry in order to raise money to donate a permanent sign with the words to the school song which will be hung in the gym. Other activities included a cook out, a trip to the Wurstfest in New Braunfels, an outing to the Renaissance Festival, and a Christmas party. The German club homecoming float won se- cond place in the parade. The German club's dedication and support was greatly ap- preciated and will be remembered as the craziest club of 1984-85.
