The students are diligent workers who are willing to put forth the ef- fort to learn their trade. The class achieved many goals by com- peting at area contests. One student went all the way to state and won. The students felt they owed all they had learned to their instructor. 161

1984-85 AUTOMOTIVE CLASS Tired - after a long class Have you ever had car trouble? Auto Mechanics is a program in Willis High School that teaches students how to cope with car trouble. Although newly reinstated, Auto Mechanics teaches extensive trou- ble shooting, brake repair, engine repair, carburetor rebuilding, transmission repair, tune-ups, and many more valuable skills.
