BOARD OF EDUCATION We the Seniors of 1955 want to thank the school board for their help in making our schooljusta bit better than it was before. Few students realize what our local school board members go through in order to hire the excellent teachers which we now have, or the many hours spent late at night balancing our school budget, and the solving of other school problems. They offer to all of us a place in which to learn if we do so want. Seated left to right in the above photo are John McFadden, Harold Johnstone, Dorothy Burrus, Secretary, Floyd Leathers, President Helen Logan, Henry Ackerman, Henry I-lenrickson.

It is our hope to be able to offer to every child who is part of our school system every advantage that will help him to develop into a useful citizen. Each child shall be treated as an individual and given as much as he can ab- sorb of the work in which he is interested. It is our aim to send children from our system equipped with a usable knowledge of the fundamental tools of learning that he may be better prepared to succeed in his vocation. To succeed in our aim is a twelve year job for each boy and girl. It is a job which depends upon the cooperative effort of every person in the school district from school patrons through board members and teachers to the pupils themselves, With the patience and cooperation of everyone we will strive to reach our goal.
