qnaouates one to the The culmination of each school year is a terminal point in the lives of all students, but it is probably the most important period in the lives of one group-our graduating seniors. Commencement from our secondary school system marks that time in your lives when you must, with a certain degree of freedom, choose the road you will travel in future years. For some of you this road will lead to advanced training in an institution of higher learningg for others it will lead immediately to some vocation or position in our democratic society. Whatever the choice, you are entering an increasingly complicated world which places a premium on education. The administration and faculty of Williamsville High School, cognizant of the challenges which now face our young people, sincerely hope that we have provided you with the fundamental skills and knowledge necessary to success- fully meet these challenges. It is our hope to be able to offer to every child who is part of our school system every advantage that will help him to develop into a useful citizen. Each child shall be treated as an individual and given as much as he can ab- sorb of the work in which he is interested. It is our aim to send children from our system equipped with a usable knowledge of the fundamental tools of learning that he may be better prepared to succeed in his vocation. To succeed in our aim is a twelve year job for each boy and girl. It is a job which depends upon the cooperative effort of every person in the school district from school patrons through board members and teachers to the pupils themselves, With the patience and cooperation of everyone we will strive to reach our goal.
