0610 it junior high Because of the overcrowded conditions in the junior- Senior High School building, it was necessary for the seventh grade to spend the entire year in the Academy Street School. However, this didn't discourage the flood of students who came to our building for many after-school activities. They were also able to take part in a few of the special assembly programs during the year. Wfe missed them this year and look forward to seeing and hearing a lot from them in the future. The eighth grade class was so large that it re- quired the majority of the classrooms on the lower seventh grades R014 I Modaffari, G, Ruddle, E. Folger, j. jackett, j. Tallchief, M. Thuman. Many eighth graders began freshman subjects this year. These included ninth grade English and math classes in addition to first year Latin and French. These students will have the opportunity to take advantage of extra courses during their lsr years of high school or they may possibly go on to more advanced work in math, science or languages. They are participating in ri progressive program. designed for the more advanced student. i 1 ,J out L J ex N Ruiz I-M. Green, M. Dougher, R. Seefried, D. Reger, VI. Rosenberg, G. Precore. Rim 2 -J.
