The paper does much to develop school spirit and a feeling of unity in the school. Both the Spirit and the Board have doubled in size this year, enabling the paper to have many improvements and new features. Notable were the f'Spirit's campaign to give the money usually spent on Prom eorsages to a worthy charity, and Mr. Magliozzi's very interesting letters on Army life, Tl-l E DEBATING CLUB The Debating Club is made up of those students who are interested in doing outside work in developing their abilities in speaking and reasoning by discussing in a logical way the current problems of the day. Since formal debates with decisions by judges have been done away with, as far as interscholastic contests are concerned, the Club entertained the members of the Lee Debating Club in a panel discussion before the assembly on the subject YN'hat the High School Youth Can Do to Help the XVar Effort. The officers of the Club are: A. Catotti, President: Rf. Neyland, Vice President: Hiekox, Secretary and Treasurer: Miss Lally. Adviser. Yhirri Row: Bliss Lallv. Arie.. A. Catotti, Prfr., YV. Como. E.
