The National Honor Society is an organization designed to recognize the student who has shown the qualities of Scholar- ship, Service, Character and Leadership. Membership is one of the highest honors a student can receive. This year, under the leadership and guidance of our advisor, Ms. Wood, the Honor Society has begun expanding their activities. They have opened up a Special Honor Roll for those students whom teachers feel deserve special recognition for the efforts. -A new idea of the Honor Society Luncheon was inaugurat- ed. The Luncheon was held for all members in order that they might get together to talk, laugh and exchange ideas on how our school might become even better. Having demonstrated their scholastic ability, many of the Honor Society members joined together to tutor those stu- dents who desire extra help in troubling subject areas. 4
