Parents are very dear to us all. Their presence makes the day bright and secure. Their absence leaves a hole in the day. Mrs. Ruby Sweet who pass- ed away in 1961 was a mother who possessed many varied talents. Her quiet charm and shy ways brought her the fame of being a sweet Mrs. Sweet. She is missed by all who knew her as the lovely lady she was. Time will never blot out the memory of Mr. Hollis Hudnut, whose de- parture from our midst on June 17 was a sad time indeed. We take this opportunity to pay Mr. Hudnut the honor he so richly deserves. He was a devoted farmer who devoted much time to our school as a board member, bus driver, and a concerned parent. His quiet manner and easy smile warmed the hearts of all who had the privilege to know him. His kind- ness and determined judgement will long be remembered after time has washed away our footprints. Francis Corwin Bowen will always be remembered around Wil- liamstown for the ten years of his life which he gave wholly to this school. Mr. Bowen led rousing discussions in the classroom, led in laugh- ter at a joke, and led in helping push students toward a useful life. Mr. Bowen's bright smile will always be missed by many a student and many an adult in Williamstown. We wish to devote a quiet moment to Miss Florence Young who was killed in an auto accident on March 8, 1968. Her busy sched- ule of teaching high school and elementary music classes, freshman English class and also private music lessons kept her on the move at all times. Yet she always had time for church work, and to help anyone or go anywhere she could be of service. Her laughter still echoes in Williamstown where her friends will always remember her.

Our young lives have been full of sunshine and roses throughout our years of schooling because of the loving care of our great parents. Their understanding of our big and little troubles has pulled our class through the tough days. We dedicate this yearbook to our parents as a tiny portion of the big thank you we feel in our hearts. We were lucky to get Mrs. Beulah Gould back to Williamstown not only as a teacher but also as our senior class sponsor. She worked for us until the job was finished. Our respect for her can only be over- shadowed by our admiration of her young spirit and helpful attitude. This book is for her with our blessing. . Dedications
