Howard MM1 the four Th; ' —Billy Coney i 10 nmimiiiiiflfiUHiumuimiin Class Will Junior Brown wills his position In study hall by Alice Mc- Farland to Jimmy Tripp. Handle her hand with care. Matadene Morris wills her ornery ways to Delores Walker. Kenneth Flshback wills his curly hair to Delorls Knapp. Lyele Bevans wills his technique with the girls to Bob Owens. Take care of them. Billy Carl Lasswell wills his Saturday night date to Dean English for Just one week end. Don't do any thing Billy Carl didn't. Billy Coney wills his Kahoka girl friend to Alan Schork. Watch It, Alan, she has red hair. Harold Nichols wills his ambitious ways to Billy Tucker. Use It well. Howard Junk wills his flirty eyes to Louise Blshoff to use while In study hall. Richard Morris wills his side burns to Billy Spurgeon Just In case he never grows any. James Logan wills his silly giggle to Bob Legg. Marguerite Ellison wills her basket ball suit to any one who thinks they can fill It out. Billy Coney wills his ability to skip school without get- ting caught to anyone who can get away with It. The entire senior class wills their chewing gum, which you'll find under the tables, to Mr. Lemmon. We will our old pencils to Mrs. Could. We will Mr. LeDoux the peace of mind which he'll have when we're gone. We will Mr. Reger our candy which he's been trying to get all year. We will Mr. Merrell the big knot In our cheek that we have every day In study hall. I unwind CLASS PROPHECY While looking out the window day dreaming, I couldn't help thinking of the senior class; that Is, wondering what they would all be doing In the years to come. I could see off In the future the former Williamstown Senior Claes of 1953 I couldn't help seeing Billy Carl Lasswell raising prize Hereford livestock. He seemed to be doing real well in his profession, because he had won several blue ribbons. I see Junior Brown living the life of a broken hearted bachelor. The reason for this was that his school day's sweetheart had let him down and had run off with Darrol Austin. Looking Into the future, I see James Logan, •God's gift to the Girlies, still chasing women, but never success- fully catching one. Now, Howard Junk has moved to Quincy, Illinois and Is trying to make a living for his wife and three kids. I see Billy Coney, the cowboy of our class, with a new pair of boots. He is pretending to be working on a cattle ranch at the Ranch House Motel, Quincy, Illinois. He Is surely bow legged from, trying to ride the white horse which is their advertising sign. Having a change of heart, Kenneth Flshback has finally given up the chase and married one of the freshmen girls of 1953 He 18 also playing for the New York Yankees, win- ning the pennant. Lysle Bevans has settled down. He left all his old sweethearts behind and Is living the life of a bachelor. I see Harold Nichols is still the tall man of our class, but being a tall man has Its advantages because he Is a camenter who- uses no ladders. My dream Is somewhat faded at the oresent, but every time I see Marguerite, someway or another, I see a oerson with the initials C. C. They surely got hitched. Another boy walks into my day dream. This person Is Richard Morris. I see he has quit going with all them gals and Is Just going with one that he Is now engaged to. The last person to walk Into my day dream Is Mazadene Morris. I see she has gone to the big city, gotten a Job, and Is Just enjoying life, running around. —Mazadene Morris 12 CLASS POEM Together we have stormed the years, Have downed defeat and conquered fears Together we have climbed the hill- Howard, Billy Carl, J.T. and Bill. Lysle, too, was by our side. And all the rest who here abide. Yes, there was Harold who led the class His skill at math no one could pass. And Mazadene's reputation grew- We marveled at the things she knew. Who could remember all the dates They crowded Into our poor pates? Yet that was Marguerite all the while 1 And who, pray, had the Jaunty style That always Richard wore when he Came dressed as If from gay Parse? A special talent marked each one, Their shoulders thus to wear upon. Mantles of achievement gay That helped them reach Commencement Day. We won't forget how Junior sang. Or yet the hearty, wholesome bang With which Kenneth always came, Though scolded still-she banged the same 1 A merry class I A lively class 1 There's none our humor could surpass. We sang and danced and grew more gay As nearer drew Commencement Day. All honor to our worthy school We strive to prove with every rule; All honor to the mark that we Have handed to posterity. In history never will there rise Our like again, we dare surmise. First in work and first In Play ! What higher praises could one say? ''otto Succepp cones in cans; failure cones In cent's.
