Lost Will and Testament A HENRY HANDY N Testator We, the Senior Class of 1957, being of sound minds and bodies, recognizing the needs of the future sen- ior, and being of a generous nature, combine our experience with the teaching of the devoted faculty of W.H.S. when we write our last will and testament. To the rising seniors we bequeath these qualities which We hope will help make their last year a memorable one. Evelyn Council leaves her diamond to Betty Modlin. Sallie Crisp wills her long hair to Sue Eubanks. Virginia Holloman bequeaths 12 inches of her height to Bonnie Jones. Robert Williams wills his bopping ability to Snelton Chesson. Alex Jones leaves his deep voice to Gaylord Perry. Dale Gardner bequeaths her determination to Shirley Bland. Freddie Harrison leaves his ability to beat the 8:33 bell to Bill Carstarphen. Blanche Manning leaves her evident popularity at election time to Georgia Jones. Eunice Grimes bequeaths her cheerleader's uniform to Jean Woolard. Willie Beaucham leaves his side burns to Buck Manning. Mary Lee White wills her giggles to Genie Glover. Letitia Ryan bequeaths her ability to make all A's to Sally Grey Griffin. Jimmy Hardison leaves his football jersey to Joe Murphy and Aaron Davenport-to use together. Sylvia Griffin wills her originality to Betty Jean Revels. Ann Darden bequeaths her voice to Dorothy Moore. Mary Frances Martin leaves the job of filling her majorette boots to Constance Chesson-iust the boots. Kenneth Kerley wills his Rock Hudson appearance to Paran Wheeler. Nancy Britton bequeaths her basketball uniform to Crissie Gurkin. Jimmy Rogers leaves his most athletic superlative to Jimmy Cooke and Ray Pate. Barbara Peele bequeaths her knack for misleading questions to Mary Ola Gay. Billy Thomas wills his musical talents to A. P. Griffin. Party Mobley leaves her devotion to one man to Loretta Harrington. Kay Taylor bequeaths her participation in class discussions to Jacy Manning and Ralph Peele. Lois Modlin leaves her calm and collected nature to Sandra Modlin. Delbert Wobbleton leaves his willingness to work to Danny Manning and Roger Mobley. Betsy Riddick leaves her appreciation for a good joke to Joe Godard and Gerald Coxe. Edna Taylor bequeaths her school spirit to Mary Lynn Pate. Kenneth Perry wills his popularity with N. Y. girls to all the Junior Boys going to N. Y. Sue Shipley leaves her figure to Rachel Cherry. Mary Frances Ayers leaves the front row seat on the Farm Life bus to Nancy Lou Tice. Mitchell Gurganus bequeaths his interest in chemistry and physics to Dale Rodgerson. Peggy Rogers leaves her petite stature to Peggy Stevenson. Mary Lou Cox -bequeaths her smile to Mary Claudia Cherry. Jimmy Mizell wills his love of agriculture to Guy Thomas. Janice Hardison leaves her ability to take good pictures to Leona Coltrain. Gordon Peele bequeaths the care and keeping of his model A to Kenneth Gurganus. Carolyn Beauchemin leaves her hard-to-spell last name to Mary Charles Beauchemin. Ann Harrison leaves her frankness to Walter Whitaker. Frankie Edwards bequeaths her self confidence to Beth Spivey. Robert Bowen wills lust for Luckies to S. M. Rogerson. A Jeanette Bowen leaves her resourcefulness to Lois Williams. Emma Jean Riddick wills her truthfulness to Carolyn Holiday. Jane Peele wills her oral French talents to Patricia Bell. Peggy Goddard leaves her school bus to anyone who will drive it. Shirley Pate wills her pleasing tone of voice to Peggy Jean Taylor.
