Yes we learned On Old Olympus Towering Tops But 32 pages of nerves pulled out all the stops. Crutches, canes, walkers and traction — Parading with these made us an attraction, In order to become more self-aware We muddled through with all this hardware. But best of all our Rehab memories Was the last day ' s breakfast at Elby ' s. 13

Surgery Our passage should be immortalized! Through the field of the sterilized. With hats and masks and booties That covered our faces and shaking footies. Changing dressings and giving shots Under the eagle eyes of Maria, Kathy and Dot. Who can forget that imperious finger of Mrs. G ' s Beckoning us through the window in surgery, The questions about anatomy and operations That couldn ' t be answered without trepidation. But the ten weeks were finally over and done And to our surprise, some of us actually had fun. Mrs. Maria Gustafson Who knows what dark and devious thoughts lurk behind these faces?
