DEDICATION As we, the Class of 1978, passed through our freshman year and entered our junior year, we faced the realization of the totally new experience ahead. To our surprise and benefit there was a very special woman who was also facing a new experience. That new experience was the initiation of a career as an instructor. Together, we learned and shared many experiences. She dedicated herself to increasing our nursing knowledge and skills. Through all these experiences she became more than an instructor to our class. With her we attained a personal relationship — she became our friend. In this role she always gave of herself. She listened to our problems and guided us to their solutions. Together we laughed and cried. Today, she is a part of our lives and we are a part of hers. In return for her sincere friendship, it is with gratitude that we dedicate our yearbook to Miss Mary Ann Hubicki. RECOGNITION During our time of struggle as we progressed from the hope to the reality of becoming a registered nurse, we all had an opportunity to study with Mrs. Gustafson. We, the Class of 1978, would like to thank her for the quality of instruction she gave. She expected our best and was always there to guide and constructively criticize us. Looking back over times fraught with tension, we see that in all phases of our nursing education, this woman taught at her best. And so it is with a deep sense of appreciation that we honor her effort with a sincere thank- you and a promise that as we pursue our careers we will strive to practice nursing in a most proficient manner consistent with her investment in our learning.
