La Memoire Business Staff 'lihe members of the LA lVlEMOIRE Business Staff were so chosen because they showed an interest in this held and desired thus to serve their school and classmates. Wlicn the stali became organized and oriented, prices were settled and the big sale was on amid artistic advertising and promotion via oration. Sophomores and juniors respondedg while seniors, owing to the many demands upon their budgets, subscribed on credit. The stall is indebted to each advertising patron and subscribing student whose enthusiastic support made our job a success. Many thanks to Mr. VVilliamson, our faculty adviser, for his expert counseling and unique course in accounting. lip In-t't tu liiglit Me-nrtstl Yun Yulin, Iillsim-ss 5I:lx11lg:el': Imvitl Ninn Xml . rn-rtisingg Munaign-r: IM-wr-3' l'r:tw, t'ir1-ulution Maxxiziew-x'. lutt in llivlmrd Taiylor, Assistant llusim-ss Multiage-r: Sun- Mont- unn-ry, .Kssislnnt .Kiln-rtising Xlunzlut-rg .lluly Slvtullloliell, K :stunt tlrvlllaitmn Rlzunuua-r. 7

La Memoire Editorial Staff 'llhe LA AlElXlOlRE Editorial Stall set to work last spring under the direction ol' lXlr. Livingston, our editorial adviser, with the hope that your yearbook would be the very best. VVe sincerely believe we have accomplished our aim. lr is our sincere belief that our Art Staff, under the capable direction of Mr. lierence, has done an exceptionably fine job this year. All drawings and mountings were done in our own art room. VVC have done our best to make the book an accurate account of the forty-niners, which we know each ol' you will cherish as a record of a very happy period in your life. VVe have chosen the llorty-niner theme because our search for knowledge ties in so well with their search lor gold, and to show that we of the class of '49 appreciate those things which arc more precious than gold.
