For the theme of this edition of LA ME- Momn, we have chosen the achievements of the Class of 1941 in the fields of sports and musicg because, in this time of na- tional crisis, the courage and fighting spirit of America's youth, and the ability of music to stimulate it, will have more than a subtle application to the future of the United States of America. The 1941 LA MEMOIRE staff presents this yearbook to the student body, faculty, friends and patrons of the Williamsport High School hoping that it may serve as an adequate record of school life for the school year 1940-41. To our classmates we especially trust that this book may prove a source of interest always, and may it help you in the remote future, to live again the three years we have lived and loved here together.
