CLASS POEM Each class has had its fiery speech, To say about its members. Each year a class does some great deed, That everyone remembers. Some turn out doctors, lawyers, And even lab technicians. Others take to foreign fields, Like airmen out on missions. But what can we with numbers - So small as three times eleven'. Yes, what great thing can we attempt? The class of '57? They've made their mark in ages past, They've carried on tradition. But now they've handed down to us - The plan for life's ambition. What can we do? We've asked ourselves, What part in this production? But then the answer came at once, It took no great deduction. Just do your best in all you do, Your gain will be not small. For it's better to have tried and failed Than not have tried at all.
