Prophecy Cont On his way back home he travels through his old home state Once 1n Iowa he starts hearing about the great basketball teams the old town of Williams has As he was dr1v1ng along thinklng of stopping off at his dear almamater he spies one of Russia's sputnicks falling toward him He gocses it and is pulling away when his powervlide goes out It clips one of his tail flns and throws him into a spin By the time the car tops he is dizzy he can't see straight Just who do you thank is coming down the road in his Cadillac on the way back to his farm? The distinguished farmer from our class, Marvin Nilliams Wren he finds Wayne is so dizzy he cen't even talk, Gus thanks that he is probably injured seriozsly so he loads him up and takes him to the hospital Wayne is over h1s dizziness by the time they get there but Gus tells him that some of our classmates are running the hospital so they so in for a visit Inside the door they find two good looking nurses They are Charlotte Crilly and Judy Crouch The two of them took over the head nurse spot They share the duty and pay The nay as enough so that they can retire in three years at the age of thirty The laboratory of the hospital is handled by two very efficient wor ers They are Karen Quist and Rosemary Shold Thev are now exper1ment1ng with a new type of X Ray they lnvented It w1ll cure cancer and T B A lot of the drugs they have been using are supplied by Roger Hoefer H has done more for medical science than any man in history When he starts pouring chem1cals together something great lust has to ha pen As they walk down the hall on their way out they meet Norma Vulgamott bringing in a sick person from the slums She has cleared up the slums in most of the big cities 1ncluding New York, Chicago and many others Gus tells Wayne that he can stay over night with h1m They not1ce that it is almost four o'clock so they decide to stop by the school and pick up Gus's two children, Gus Jr and Pat the second They are named after their father and mother When they pull up in front of the chool Wayne is really surprised Gus tells him that all of the schools 1n Ham1lton County have been C0hSO11d8CBd at W1lliams He asks about the basketball teams trat he heard about and finds out that they are really something Thenr coach Russell Lawson, is the cause for their success He has turned out three state champion teams and fourteen all staters N en Gus's kids come out they start telling about their mean superin hair They say that she is a very nice person and has a wonderful person al1ty, but oh bov ' when she gets mad, watch cut' This reminds Wayne of girl he useH'to know in high school, and what do you know, it is she, San dra Knickerbocker She started out as f1fth grade teacher and worked up the ladder to take over Mr shelton's place at the wheel M fi -x Qp 1, Xx I-J -.fr Webster C1tv Chamber of Commerce ochcol yearbook plan ' 3 .6 0 s, so .C- . 1, ... . . 0 . , tendent.
