N SPOHSOI' . fall of 1952, twenty freshmen registered into at Williams High School. We were all bashful large assembly in which we had to study. The class were: Harry Arnold, Robert Barz, Peggy the and mem- Ca- ruth, Ronnie Frayne, Virginia Howe, Mary Lou Holtkamp, Duane Hoversfen, Marlene Jensen, Dale Johnson, Robert Knickerbocker, Lela Mae Meves, Vernon Olson, Jon Petersen, Ramona Ricke, Keith Roe, Sharon Schutt, Albert Tordoff, Marilyn Westwick, and Carl . We elected the following officers: President-Mary Lou Holtkamp, Vice President-Ramona Ricke, Secretary-Marilyn West wick, Treasurer-Keith Roe. Miss Benita Moore was our class In March we lost Vernon Olson, who moved to Nevada, and in April we lost Ronnie Frayne. Let's look up our old class- mates and see what has become of them. We buy our tickets at the airport in Des Moines and go out to get in the plane. When the pilot comes around to shake our hand we find out it is our old classmate Dale Johnson. After talking with Dale for a few minutes we take off and shortly land at the airport in Williams After leaving Dale we see a fabulous ranch house Our 67 curiousity is too much so we stop to visit with the owner Much to our sur rise we find it belongs to Albert Albert tells us he now owns all the land from here to Des Moines and has started the Williams Kentucky Derby which he has won five vears straight with H13 fine million dollar horses He won the last one by two noses and a tail Shortly after leaving school we could ' see that at this early age Bob Knickerbocker is destined to become a pocket billard champ ion Upon asking him how he rose to great fame he relates to us the story of how he won the Chevrolet division of General Motors Cor poration bv defeating the president H now busy making the hot ones even notter We hunt up our old classmates Mary C and Mary Lou who are now living in a swank pent house apartment After a long talk with them we find out they still haven't changed much at heart Mary lou is now Supt at Williams Storm Haven Hospital and Mary C is the famous dress designer going under the name of Cee C They only work A hours a day and spend their nights Wcatting around in one of their six l966 Oldsnobiles Upon visiting good ole Williams High we see that Sharon Schutt is now Supt She taught Sth grade for five years and after lk of her pupils turned out to be quiz kids Mr Shelton retired and Sharon took over We find that Carl Wibholm has progressed in the dairying Industry But being a poor pool player he 5 lost all but one cow to the great national hero of pool players Bob Knickerbocker He now milks nis J only Hostein 15 times a day to get back the losses Seeking out old classmate Darlene Jensen we discover that she is the wife of the great pool champ and she is kept busy with her even half dozen kids lela Mae is now teaching drama at the Williams Institute of higher learning for under privileged students We arrived too late to go to her wedding She is now on her honey moon in Bermuda XBXWKW 7144 1 411 0,030 NXNXNNNN Gi:9 J 1llnSOH 1 Llr n O Jilliams, Iowa illi s s . .
