776. lam 2. 2' Under the guidance of our principal, Mr. Lester Ridenhour, Walter Williams High School has continued to advance Toward the perfection of a more complete educa- tion for all. The unfailing interest shown by Mr. Ridenhour has proven often that the controls of Williams are in very capable hands. hand. One of the most trying positions at Wil- liams is that of the office secretary. How- ever, Mrs. Gertrude Tisdale has managed to T-lf -x,f ' run our office with efficiency and perfec- tion. She is always ready to lend a helping Here to help us, the guid- ance counselors are called upon constantly to advise the students on w h i c h courses will best aid them in their chosen professions. Miss Ray, Mr. Miller and Mr. Poovey offer their help in solving many of our problems and most cer- tainly deserve our gratitude and admiration.

Spikes has done an excel- lent job this year, supervis- ing the curricula and special programs and working to expand the school facilities. His leadership and good iudgement have been a great asset to the commu- nity, we appreciate his ef- forts in our behalf. 2'
