Made Assistant Pro- fessor of Greek in 19055 Assistant Professor of Economics in 1909. Elmer Irwin Shepard M.A., Assistant Professor of Math- John Sayward Galbraith, M.A., Assistant Professor of Greek and Latin Was graduated from Harvard in 1899 with final honors in classics. Was Instructor in Latin and Greek at St. George's School, Newport, R. I., at the DeLancey School, Philadelphia, and at the Morristown School, Morristown, N. J., during the five years following graduation. Received the degree of M. A. from Harvard in 1905. Was engaged in graduate work in l.at1n and Greek at Harvard for three years.
