Was a Charles Carroll Everett Scholar from Bowdoin at Columbia Universit.y, 1914-1915. Received the degree of M.A. from Columbia in 1915. Was a Gilder Fellow, Columbia University, 1919-1920. Attend- ed Harvard University Summer Session, 1918. Attended lec- tures of the New School for Social Research, 1919-1921. Was an instructor in Government at Reed College, 1915-1918. Assist- ant Professor on leave, 1918-1920. Lecturer in Government at Columbia College, 1922. Received the degree of Ph.D. from Columbia University in 1923. Was called to Williams as A. Barton Hepburn Professor of Government in 1922. Was As- sislant Educational Director, U. S. Public Health Service, 1918- 1919. Prof. Leigh isa member of the fb BK Society, and the K 22 Grcelc and Latin Fraternity. Twice a summer student at Harvard and once at Chicago. ln- structor in Classics and History at Riverview Academy, 1893- 1899. Was called to Williams in 1902 as lnstruetor in Greek and Latin. Made Assistant Professor of Greek in 1905g Assist- ant Professor of Economics in 1909. I John Sayward Galbraith, lVI.A., N is .f1.s.sti.stant Professor of VVas graduated from Harvard in 1899 with final honors in classics. Was Instructor in Latin and Greek at St. Gcorge's School, Newport, R. I., at the Deliancey School, Philadelphia, and at the Morristown School, Morristown, N. -I., during the five years following graduation. Received the degree of M.A. from Harvard in 1905. Was engaged in graduate work in Latin and Greek at Harvard for three years. Was instructor in these languages at Harvard, 1909-10. Appointed Instructor at Wil- liams in 19073 made Assistant Professor in 1910. Mr. Gal- braith is a member of the 112 BK Society and of the A T fraternity.
