Taught at Wesleyan Academy, 190-1-05, Phillips Academy, Andover, Mass., 1905-07, Hopkins Grammar School, New llaven, Conn., 1907-103 Yale College, 1910-11. Was called to Williams in 1911. Dr. Agard is a member of thc IIHNG-7, 35, 1IwBK, and t.hc American Mathematical Societies. Archie Roy Bangs, M.A., Instructor in German. Was graduated from Bates College in 1908. Received his MA. from Colgate in 1910 and from Iflarvard in 1911. Was Assistant in German at Colgate, 1908-1910. Studied at the University of Berlin, 1911-1912. Came to Williams as In- structor in German in 1912. ,lcon Norton Cru, Instructor in French. l'rol'esscur de Lyeecu. Returned to Williams in 1912. james Edmond Shrader, M.A., Instructor in Physics. Was graduated from Ohio State University in 1909 and received the degree of MA. from that University in 1912. Studied at Yale, 1910-19115 Harvard, 1911-1912. Instructor in Physics at Tufts College, 1911-1912. Came to Williams as Instructor in Physics in 1912. Mr. Shrader is a member of t.he EE Society. 25

Mr. Ilil- dreth is a member of 'DAQ Fraternity. Alfred Mitchell Dame, M.A., Instructor in Latin and Greek. Was gmduated from Harvard in 1902 and received his M.A. degree from that University in 1903. Instructor in Latin and Creek at Worcester Academy 1903-1910. Studied at American School of Classical Studies in Rome, 1910-1911. Appointed Acting Assistant Professor of Greek and Latin at Clark Col- lege, Worcester, for the spring term, 1911. Was appointed lnstructor at Williams in 1911. Mr. Dame is a member of the fhlili Society. Francis Brown Barton, Doeteur de 1'Universitc do Paris, Instructor in the Romance Languages. Was graduated from Williams with the Class of 1907. Taught at Concord School, Concord, Mass., 1907-09. Studied at the University of Paris, 1909-11, receiving his fl0Ct0l',S degree from that University in 1911. Came to Williams as Instructor in l rench in 1911. He is a member of 'DISK Society. Arthur Howland Buffinton, MA., Instructor in History. Was graduated from Williams with the Class of 1907. Assistant in History at Williams, 1907-08. Received his M.A. degree from Harvard University in 1909 and continued graduate work there during the years 1909-11.
