CH IFR f!IDfR.S' ...s0 FIGHT, FIGHT, FlGHT!! yells the crowd as the enthusiastic cheerleaders lead them in cheering the team on to a thrilling victory. The cheerleaders spend much time each week practicing for the upcoming games. Their cheers and smiles help unite the fans behind their team. Their activities do not end when the final bell rings, either. An arousing pep assembly to encourage school spirit and game attendance, and constant Going-to-the game remarks made their presence and purpose unfor- gettable. Bright, new blue, white, and gold uniforms have improved the cheerleaders' appearance this year. There was a slight change in the squad second semes- ter, when Doris Wielhouwer left and llah Borton and Kathy Siler joined the group. But each cheerleader, past and present, works toward one goal--to do their best possible for their Lord. As Christian cheerleaders, they have the opportunity to show Christian sportsmanship, and be a testimony to Christ, whether to Christian or non-Christian opponents. i X Generators of school spirit!
