DHRO 7 CIW RESTU MISSION Three and a half years ago, a man had a vision of seeing inner-city boys and girls coming to a saving knowledge of jesus Christ through Child Evangelism at the Detroit City Rescue Mission. In the three and a half years since, thousands have accepted Christ as their own personal Saviour. Originally Child Evangelism met once a week with approximately five students from DBC helping in the programs. Last year with over ten active DBC students, they saw over fifty first time decisions for Christ in just one week. God has greatly blessed and used this ministry as an outreach to the boys and girls in the inner city. The greatest proof of His working is the love for them which He has given to those who have worked with them. The girl pictured above not only accepted Christ as her own personal Saviour at Child Evangelism but later led two of her friends to accept Him as well. She also directed another one of her friends to one of the DBC students to accept Christ. Diane Wisner teaches a new Christmas song to the boys and girls. Linda Miller helps collect the hymn books and Bibles before Bible Club begins.

l john Boney discusses WMF with the student body. WORlD MISSION The purpose of the World Mission Fellowship is to influence Detroit Bible College students in the area of missions. WMF attempted to meet this challenge by promoting interest and raising financial support for the Urbana Missionary Con- ference in Urbana, Illinois. Finances were raised by projects such as a car wash, bake sale, candied-apple sale, and donations. The high- light was the Urbana Work Day in Archbold, Ohio, as guests of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Lantz. Ten students spent an enjoyable weekend clean- ing houses and garages, raking leaves, stringing Christmas lights, washing windows, addressing Christmas cards, waxing floors, moving cabinets, fellowshipping, and eating the fine food prepared by Mrs. Lantz. The working and leading of the Lord can be seen from the exciting fact that these ten students raised S265 from the generous- hearted people of Archbold. WMF also used these projects to raise funds for the support of DBC students who were engaged in SummerMissionary Work around the state.
