l 1 What now Dr. Shaw? The Archaeological Association was organized this year for the purpose of learning the methods of excavating and to contribute some useful data to the field of archaeology. Dr. Charles H. Shaw, an archaeologist with many years of experience in the Holy Land, is the leader of the Association and overseer of the excavation. The Association began excavating in September in search for the remains of Fort Sinclair, a British fort built in 1763, in St. Clair, Michigan. The fort was in exist- ence for about twenty-five years and it was the summer home for Lieutenant Patrick Sinclair, who was in charge of British shipping on the Great Lakes. lean Baptiste de Sable, the founder of pre- sent day Chicago, was also at Fort Sinclair for a long period before he went west. The goal is that all artifacts will be given to the City of St. Clair upon completion of the study and future plans of rebuilding the fort. This is our target area--Wayne State University. I john Kahkola stops to give his testimony to a Wayne State stu- dent in hopes that he will accept Christ. Kathy Bradley and Bob Snow share Christ with international students in the Hilberry Lounge. 65 CAM 0 C'R0 APE Campus Crusade is a great opportunity for a Bible college student to talk to his peers on a secular campus. We who go to Wayne State University every week are tested in our beliefs and are sometimes forced to defend our faith in the Bible and God to a skeptical student. With over 40,000 students at Wayne, our field of service is unlimited. There are several methods of evangelism which we use at Wayne. The first method is a religious survey, directed to college students, which leads into an opportunity for the presen- tation of the gospel. The second is one of pass- ing out tracts to the majority of students who are contacted during the day and also talking to those who seem interested in the message of the tract. The third is called friendship evange- lism. This method works very well with the foreign students where you make friends with the person and during the process of making friends you have virtually an unlimited opportuni- ty to witness, especially in your own life and actions, which they will watch carefully. ln this case your actions will speak louder than your words.
