Patterson, Mr. john McDougall, Mr. R. W. Bergner, Mr Charles F Shumway The Board of Directors of the College is charged with the overall manage- ment of the affairs of DBC. This group of leading laymen and pastors meet monthly to conduct the business and to pray for the ministry of the College. These men bring a variety of interests and experiences to their responsibility as Board mem- bers. Some are serving their first term on the Boardg others have served for over twenty-five years. The present Board is composed of twenty-two active members and nine advisory members, under the chairmanship of Dr. M. C. Patterson. The Board lost one active member this year when Dr. E. L. Bringard retired from his medical prac- tice and moved out of the Detroit area. Mr. Thomas E. O'Hara, a local businessman, was welcomed as a newly elected member of the Board. Mr. Ronald Grant continues to serve as the Alumni representative on the Board of Directors. 8
