,W 4' Now we are seniors. Little did we think when we entered York High's portals for the first time as those 'Lgreen sophs that three years would pass so quickly. How well we remember our first bewildered days at Old York High, and how immense and far away our senior year seemed. Our sophomore year flew by in the rush of homework, exams, making new friends, joining societies, and attending school activities. Then our junior year came. At last we felt we were somebody. We began to take on more responsible jobs and learned how to study and still have time for all our activities and dates. Before we knew it, we were seniors. All too soon this year has passed and now we are ready to graduate. In taking stock of our high school years, we find that we have gained in knowledge, self-confidence, and responsibility to become individuals-preparing to face the future. All our classes, studies, and activities have been for one purpose, to prepare us to become well-rounded adults who are capable of managing the problems of the world. As we graduate we must always keep our ideals and hopes for the future in mind, for that is the only way we will ever achieve the world we want.
