DEPUTY MR. YINGER HQ MR. VVALTERS 1 - -,j,:.' M,..,.f X ' K i til A Z A .y Q ggi M V MR. SHETTER MR. VVALTERS-A friendly figure around school is this mathe- matical gcnius who teaches Solid and Trig. Popularly called Bucky, Mr. Walters is an excellent help to Mr. Shetter in scheduling our classes in addition to his numerous other duties. He is a quiet, dignified and unassuming young man but as a teacher of all branches of mathematics we rate him at the top. His fine personality is only superseded by his perfect skill in playing the piano. Hats off to you, Bucky, from the Forty- ninersf' MR. SHETTER-He is the sort of guy you are mighty glad to know. His friendly smile can brighten a rainy day like the golden sun streaming through a break in the clouds after a storm. We guess it's just natural for a K'guy like Mr. Shetter, our Curricular Advisor, to enjoy all the good things in life. He is always willing to give a hand to even the smallest of problems which occur from day to day. Mr. Shetter, who teaches Mechanical Drawing, is also the Sports Faculty Manager and because he loves all types of sports we put him down in our Little Red Book as joe. MR. YINGER-To give careful advice to all the students of NVilliam Penn is one of the primary objectives of our amiable and accomplished Mr. Yinger. This fun-loving personality is none other than our 'lfriendly guidance counselor. For those of us who find ourselves at the threshold of a mo- mentous decision regarding our future careers, we can depend on this likable red-head Cor is his hair red?D to give us his careful and considered advice. YV e, The Forty-niners, who are about to take the trail over the rocky highway to fame and fortune Cwe hopel give you our very hearty thanks and a snappy military salute.

H011 .ZLGGN The photographer followed that lingering and appetizing aroma, and discoxtred it originated in the Cafeteria chow wagon. He shot the unsuspecting cook for no particular reason, but fled to safety before being corrallcd and lynchcd. VVARNING! CASUAL VISITOR: 0 . 1 Prospecting for a dinner. Ginny, Margie, Norma and Patty look mighty hungry after a session of hbook larnin'. If you value your life, git out of the halls at ll:3O!!l Gosh dem it, that's when the stampede begins. That shout coming from the Chow XVagon, Hcomc and git it is the signal for the rush. jump on the nearest lironco, boy, and beat it. Nothing can hold hack these Bill Penn f'steers when they catch a whiff of that appetizing aroma escaping from the most popu- lar range on the ranch. And who is responsible for all these good smells and vittles-why, Xliss Murphy, chief of the Baked Beans and Bacon Brigade. To her we owe all that extra avoirdupois we are carrying around. Listen to that jingle of coins! Mr. Miller urings 'em up as these hungry daughters of the wild and woolly digginsv load their trays with flapiaeks, halted beans. jerked venison, and many other aromatic and tan- talizing vittles.
