When a tantalizing odor floats through the halls and reaches about 900 semi-starved students still sweating it out in classrooms, look out for the 11:30 bell and the mad rush to get in line. Casting envious glances toward the note line, others not so fortunate settle down for a long wait and try to subdue their ravenous appetites by keeping an eye peeled on their latest heart-throb in the opposite line. Library t'F1RsT SHELF from the top, third book to the right, might be a familiar phrase to many students of Bill Penn who use the library regularly. Miss Schwartzer and Miss Gotwalt may often be heard giving similar references to stu- dents about certain books. We all remember the time we met with what seemed like a hopeless sit- uation until the library came to our rescue. There We found all types of books ranging from fiction to fact. These pictures might typify when the cat's away, the mice will play, but you who have made up detention probably re- member how loud the pin that dropped sounded in that room. Bored of Education ff ,f IT WAS a bad policy to talk a lot, or be late unexcused, or cut classes, because you invariably landed in detention. Well, at least you got some home-work done that night, for as you remember, Mr. Grim would not tolerate any one's not studying.
