DR ARTHUR W FERGUSON Supermtendent ol York City Schools Ring Leader UPON the shoulders of our competent School Board President rests the great responsi- bility of presiding over all meetings. All business discussed in these meetings is handled by Mr. Baker with the utmost care. Because of his close co-operation and inter- est in school activities he has become an object of admiration in the eyes of all William Penn students. To OUR capable Superintendent of Schools Dr Ferguson is given the tremendous Job of keeping the school board and the faculty in close unison It is because of his excellent background that he was able to rise to so import nt a position Dr Ferguson is the recipient of many degrees a few of which are Bachelor s Degree at the University of College nd Doctor of Physiology at the University of Pennsylvania He also taught at both elementary and high schools He served as Superintendent of Schools in York since 1930 It is because of him that William Penn maintains its excellent faculty He also in conjunction w1th the school board formulates rrany of our school policies It is because of these far sighted policies that Wllliam Penn has deve'oped 1ts demo ratlc chool government of which we are rightly proud MR.
