The Language Club is composed of students interested in foreign languages and cultures. Their monthly meetings this year featured programs on Sweden, San Salvador, Chile, and Brazil. The club took a field trip to German Village in Columbus. As a special project this year, members of the club helped spon- sor the exchange student from Brazil. DEBATE TEAM M .at Each year the Debate Team, composed of students interested in argumentation and debate, prepares and presents the affirmative and negative cases for the national debate topic, Which is selected by the National Forensic League. The Debate Team, coached this year by Mr. Jim Orr, participated in three pre-tournament debates and won two. In the Warren County Debate Tourna- ment the Mason affirmative team was the only undefeated team. Mr. Orr and Karen Gray, who was selected as the outstanding debator of the Warren County Debate .
