Our job is finished now, but the hours of work are not forgotten. It was our hope from the beginning that each of you would have a book at which you could look in future years and recall the happy memories of your high school days. We have spent study halls, afternoons, evenings, and even holidays putting this book together---now we present it to you so that you might always remember the 1971-72 school year at William Mason High. When we began this book, we had very little experience at this type of work. We have been very fortunate to have so meny people be of such great help. We would particularly like to thank Principal Lee 1. Carey for his special co-operation and encouragement; June Hill for her dependable photo services; Mr. Maurice Childs and Inter-Collegiate Press, Inc. for their help in all facets of our book; the custodial staff for puttingupwithus during the seemingly interminable work sessions; the junior yearbook staff for their valuable help; and Mrs. Gwen Goode for her invaluable assistance and patience.
