Wrestling Team Under the coaching of Mr. Russ Hutch- ins, the wrestling team in its first year of competition showed healthy potential. The team's record of 3 wins and 6 losses left much to be desired, but there were several outstanding individuals. Senior Steve Burg- wrestlinginthe 167-1b. class carried an 8-1 record for the year. Senior Bill Pugh, in the 155-1b. class, ended the season With a 7-2 record. Junior Gary Baker, in the 126-1b. class witharecord of Swins and 1 loss, won a seat in District Competition. Freshman Eric Huhn, in the 98-1b. class with an 8-1 record, won a seat in District Competition. FRONT: Jlm Forste, Jamie Madden, Eric Huhn, Gary Baker, John Federle, and Barry Diangelo. 138 Community Unity The curiosity and wonderment about who would be the 1971 Community Unity Queen all came to a close during half- time ceremonies of the MasoneLakota football game on September 17, when Sue Schutte, a junior, was crowned. Pat Dowd, a sophomore was chosen lst runner-up. Seniors Betsy Batsche, Mary Colley and Mary Steiner were Princesses of the Queen's Court. einer.
