The purpose of the Girls' Athletic Association is: to encourage an intelligent interest in all sports and games; to establish student leadership; to foster good sportsmanship; to create a spirit of fellowship among students; and to promote health. All girls of grades nine, ten, eleven and twelve are eligible to participate in G. A. A. , if they have passing grades, good conduct and attitude in and at all school functions, the required number of entrance points, and payment of dues. The 117 members can participate in intramural and interscholastic activities of basketball, football, seftball, track and volleyball. The Powder Puff Football Game is Sponsored by the G.A.A. annually. Sophomore, junior and senior girls enthusiastically participate in this event. The teams are coached by junior and senior boys. 7 i Under the guidance of Mrs. Judy Schott. the ' H 4 ' Mason G.A.A. is now a member of the National GtA.A.
