Linda Hanks, 1962 Homecoming Queen, was crowned and presented to the student body by Art Miller. homecoming Homecoming activities, held during a cold weekend in late November, began on Thursday night with the pep rally and bonfire. Friday night was highlighted by the clever and entertaining talent revue. Also Friday night the Homecoming Queen and her court and Mr. 8: Mrs. Alumni were presented. Saturday morning featured the parade of floats and Saturday afternoon found the William Jewell Cardinals victorious over the St. Benedict Ravens in the football game. The co-chairmen for the weekend were Linda Ehrsam and Bill Elledge.
